How we are migrating live offers
We’ve made a big change to how our pricing works, and made it even better for producers on Algrano.
Algrano is removing the Seller Fee, which is applied to each sale through the Algrano platform, and replacing it with a new Matchmaking fee, which expires after 3 years.

These changes reflect our commitment to facilitating long term partnerships between producers and roasters.
How prices are calculated
The Seller Fee, which was part of every coffees price calculation, will now be removed.
Previously, the FOB price was: Farm gate + Export fees + Seller Fee
Now, the FOB is: Farm gate + Export fees
ONLY if the Matchmaking fee applies, will it be charged after the sale.
What happens to your offers that are live
The new Matchmaking fee will only apply to offers created after 24 March, 2026, and offers that have been edited after this change.
If you have a coffee that was listed before these changes went into effect, the original Seller Fee pricing structure will still apply UNTIL 13 May, 2026.
If you want to edit the price on your offers
You can edit the price at any time. Be aware, editing the price now will force the offer into the new Matchmaking fee structure.
If you would like to edit any offers that are currently live, simply go to your Dashboard, and click on “Offers” on the left side.
From there, click the ‘pencil’ icon next to the price.

On the price modal, you will see a dropdown menu which shows you the various scenarios that may apply regarding the Matchmaking fee:
