# Can I buy coffee on Algrano without a VAT number?

 **Generally, no.** Because Algrano operates strictly as a B2B marketplace, a valid **VAT number, Tax ID, or US EIN** is required to create an account and place orders.

**Exemptions for Unregistered Entities:** If your business is legally exempt from tax registration (such as an NGO or a business operating below local mandatory thresholds), you can still buy on the platform.
