      Step-by-Step Guide to Buying Coffee Through Algrano

      To help you get started with buying coffee through Algrano, here’s a simple step-by-step guide:

      1. Browse Coffees:

        • Explore our selection of coffee beans on the marketplace. You can filter by origin, flavour profile, quantity, and other preferences to find the perfect coffee for your needs.
        • Please note that the coffees listed are still at their origin. We organise shared shipments, so all orders from the same origin are grouped together, making shipping efficient and cost-effective. Check our sourcing calendar to see upcoming shared shipments.

      2. Request Free Samples:

        • To evaluate the quality and flavour of a coffee before placing an order, you can request free samples. This allows you to taste and assess the coffee prior to making a purchase.

      3. Place Your Order:

        • After selecting your coffee, add it to your cart and proceed to checkout.
        • During checkout, choose the warehouse where you want the coffee stored, specify the quantity of bags, and indicate if you want to finance the purchase (you may have a pre-approved credit limit).
        • Shipment Options: For orders over 100 bags, you can request a custom shipment dedicated to your needs. Orders under 100 bags will be included in a shared shipment, which has specific timelines for better planning.
        • You will see a breakdown of the FCA price, which includes delivery to your selected warehouse and one month of free warehousing.

      4. Shipping:

        • After placing your order, we will coordinate shipping with the producer according to your preferences. Tracking information will be provided through our marketplace, and you will receive email updates every Friday regarding your shipments.

      5. Receive Your Coffee:

        • Once the coffee arrives at the warehouse, we will notify you. You can request a release through our marketplace whenever you’re ready. We offer a delivery service to your roastery for a fee, or you can arrange to pick it up yourself.
        • Please note that road transport rates may fluctuate based on the transporter and your roastery's location. If you’d like a rough estimate for shipping, feel free to ask!
        • After your coffee arrives at the warehouse, you will enjoy one month of free storage. Following this period, storage fees will be calculated daily per kilogram, ensuring you only pay for the actual volume and duration your coffee remains stored.
