# I'm curious about the Service Fee—what does it involve?

## Algrano charges a service fee for each coffee purchase.

The **Service Fee** is a transparent charge included in your total price to facilitate a seamless Direct Trade experience. It covers: 

- **Platform Infrastructure:** Maintaining the digital tools that connect you directly with producers. 
- **Trade Documentation:** Managing the complex paperwork and logistics of international coffee sourcing.
- **Customer Support:** Providing dedicated assistance throughout your purchasing journey. 

 

### How you save

We use a ** [Levels Pricing](https://algrano.com/pricing-and-transparency)** system (Levels 1–5) that rewards your growth. As your **lifetime total volume** increases, you automatically move through the levels and receive lower service fees. You’ll **never move back** to a lower level.
