The cost of financing with Algrano depends on the volume and price of coffee and the duration of financing (transit + storage time).
Financing is divided into two parts:
- Transit: Financing is included in your checkout costs.
- Storage: There's a daily charge per kg/lb specified in your contract, which is billed with each release and operates on a 'pay-as-you-go' basis
Just because we're making financing costs explicit and transparent, it doesn’t mean you’re paying more for them.
Every importing company needs to finance coffee. In some cases, this cost is included in the final price without being itemized. In others, a percentage of the coffee’s value is billed monthly.
At Algrano, we use a "pay-as-you-go" approach to ensure you only pay for what you use and know exactly what you’re paying for. This also gives you the flexibility to manage your releases in a cost-efficient manner.
