# What is the sourcing planner?

The Sourcing Planner on your dashboard helps you map out your green coffee purchases and stay ahead of harvest calendars:

- **Track Shipping Windows:** View monthly departure and arrival timelines for every origin.
- **Time Your Purchases:** Get suggestions on the best periods to order samples and contract lots for peak fresh crop.
- **Customize Your View:** Filter by your favorite origins, then click any timeline bar to explore shipping dates and browse available coffees.
