How does Algrano ensure the quality of specialty coffee?

 

We maintain quality through direct producer vetting, evaluations by certified Q Graders, and a strict 3-stage sampling process:

Producer Selection: We partner with growers who demonstrate high farming, harvesting, and processing standards.
Q Grader Evaluation: All samples are scored and profiled by certified Q Graders at our Quality Lab in Zurich.

3-Stage Quality Check:
Offer Sample: Cupped in Zurich to set the baseline quality, score, and profile.
Pre-Shipment Sample (PSS): Cupped in Zurich before departure from origin to ensure the lot matches the original offer.
Arrival Sample: Cupped in Zurich after landing in destination warehouses to verify green coffee stability and confirm quality before release for contracts with Quality Insurance.
