How much does warehousing cost?
After your coffee arrives at the warehouse, you’ll enjoy 30 days of free storage. After this period, storage fees are calculated daily per kilogram, so you only pay for the volume and time your coffee stays in storage. The applicable rate is detailed in the final section of your offer or contract.
Each time you release coffee, you’ll be invoiced for the storage and financing costs based on the total volume you have in stock up to the release date, not just the volume you’re releasing. As you continue to release coffee and the total number of bags in the warehouse goes down, the amount billed will decrease as well.
For example: if you have 1,000 kg in storage and release 200 kg, the fees up to that release date are calculated based on the 1,000 kg in stock. After the release, the remaining 800 kg will be used to calculate future fees.
